Parents and Family
Marching on through November is a little bit scary for the fact that in a few
weeks we're well on into the holiday season and the days of junior high begin
to dwindle on down. Soon and very soon, our students will begin seriously
discussing high school choices and processes with their families; certainly a
right of passage for all growing young ladies and gentleman.
At the end of this trimester you all will be receiving the report card for
your student along with the ITBS scoring summary which will give you a
snapshot of how your student performed during our standardized testing period.
Of course, testing is always a little intimidating and challenging, yet our
students perform. I am sure that you will realize how far our 8th grade class
has come forward academically.
In the meantime, continue to support your students, challenge them and see
them grow. It is a wonderful time in life, still there is much to accomplish
and we'll see it through together.
