The funeral for Julio Montes Sr. will be tomorrow at 10:00 at OLS. Students need to be accompanied by their parents in order to attend, or have a written letter saying they can go with another student’s parent. Thank you for showing your support to the Montes family.
Ms. Thea from the Canto Baile Program will come to our class on Wednesdays. The program introduces students to music and dance from the Rancho period of California’s history. For the remainder of the year we will have a UCSB student observing and helping in our classroom on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Mr. Mark is a Statistics major and is interested in the teaching profession. It will be wonderful for the students to have extra help and support for the next several weeks.
Students are hard at work on their Mary Shrines and the Story of Mary packets. Shrines will be displayed on May 17th. The third trimester has begun! During the third trimester I will not be accepting any late work. Students will still have one day to make up any sick/absent work, but no other assignments will be accepted for credit after their due date. Please work with your student to make sure all homework assignments, and projects are here on their due date.
