I have been teaching middle school students for over 33 years. I have taught
in Spain, New York, San Francisco, and here in Oakley, where I've been for
the last 23 years. I graduated from the University of San Francisco with a
degree in history.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching ancient history to sixth graders. My goal is to
have my students leave sixth grade in June not only understanding the
history of ancient cultures, but leave as budding historians with an
appreciation of what those cultures have given to us.
