Reminder 6th and 7th Grade Students: Your course request forms are due today (Friday).

Reminder to the boys and girls soccer teams: turn in your uniforms to Mrs. Simmons today (Friday) to participate in your pizza party. Your pizza party is this Friday at 3:15pm on the outdoor stage; your sports pictures will also be distributed that day.

Track team members: if you purchased your sports pictures, please pick them up from the office.

All 8th Graders interested in running for President or Vice President of your freshman class next year at Freedom, please pick up an application in the office. See Mrs. Gonzalez if there are any questions.

The next OPS PAWS pizza party has been rescheduled to Friday of next week, May 24th, during your lunch.

Reminder students; all library books are due this week. We will start returning textbooks next week.

8th Graders: there will be a professional photographer at the 8th Grade Dance to take your pictures. If you are attending and plan on purchasing the pictures, pick up an order form from the office. The forms along with payment must be submitted to the photographer when your photo is taken. Please inform your parents.

Attention 8th Graders:  the forms and final payment for the 8th Grade Activities need to be turned in to the office as soon as possible. At this time, payments must be CASH only; extra forms are available in the office.  Please remind your parents.

Yearbooks are on sale for $35, CASH only. Bring your money to the office to reserve your copy of the book. There is a limited supply. Get one while they last!

Spring picture money and all unwanted pictures are past due.The photo studio will begin billing your parents for unpaid or unwanted pictures.

PTSA is sponsoring a drawing for a hat and a $45 gift card from Lumpy’s Diner. For a chance to win, all you have to do is take BoxTops to Mrs. Pennock in the Library. For every 10 BoxTops (trimmed and not expired) that you turn in, you will get 1 ticket for the drawing. The winner of the Lumpy’s Diner hat and $45 gift card will be announced on May 28th. In addition, every week two students’ names will be drawn for a prize from PTSA’s display case in the library.
