GATE students: There is no Sewing class today (Friday), but there will be classes on Tuesday, December 8^th, and Friday, December 11^th.

The See's Candies orders will be handed out after school on Friday, December 11^th, until 6:00pm.  Please let your parents know.

Toys for Tots is now up and running. Please bring in a new and unwrapped toy to help Oakley families in need. Toys can be brought to the office and added to the collection bin. Students – if you bring in a toy, your name will be added to a drawing for a chance to win two tickets to the Holiday on Ice Skating Rink at the Streets of Brentwood.  You will also receive an Out of Conditioning Pass for PE; limit one per student.  These are great prizes for your thoughtful donations.  All toys must be turned in by Tuesday, December 8^th.

The O’Hara Park School Arts calendar is on sale now. This calendar is filled with unique and original student art. Each calendar is $15 and can be purchased in Room 5 before and after school. Proceeds go toward student art supplies. These calendars make great holiday gifts so be sure to buy one and support your fellow students and the arts at O’Hara Park!

Congratulations to the winners of the See’s Candies Sale.  6th Grade with sales of $330.90 is DJ Berumen, 7th Grade with sales of $355.80 is Georgia Flores, and the 8th Grade with sales of $373.50 is Kelcee Wheeler.  They each won 2 Rave Motion Pictures Theater tickets.  Winners, please come to the office after school to take a picture and receive your prizes.

Congratulations to the Writing Club members, who during the month of November wrote a total of 120,002 words!  Great job Jaxson, Nathan, Victor, Tyler, Sean, Aiden, Natasha, Jordan, Tiffany, Mary, Chris, Lexie, Mr. Seymour and Mrs. Whalin.  We will meet again beginning January 11^th.

Congratulations to Mr. McGuirk’s 5^th period class who won the canned food drive! His class collected 360 cans!  Great job to everyone who participated!  O’Hara Park collected a total of 1,060 canned food items to donate to local families.

8^th Grade t-shirts are on sale!  The t-shirts are $10, have an awesome design, and the names of all 8^th graders on the back. Please pick up an order form in the office. The sale is cash only.
