You are responsible for the correct spelling of all 10 words on the weekly spelling list as well as all previous CORE words. The blue spelling list includes 5 new "core words" and 5 new Challenge words. The CORE list was sent home on August 25th and included 170 "no excuse words" which you should know from 1st and 2nd grade. Every Friday you will be tested on these new words used in sentences. You will receive it back on the following Monday stapled to the new words for the week. You will also have other spelling dictation paragraphs, Dictation for the week of April 23rd History House Gilbert Smith build his small, two-story home in Los Altos in 1905. In 1930, he planted a nearby apricot orchard. Both this historic house and the orchard still remain on property near the Los Altos Library.
