About The Teacher
I have been teaching now for 20 years and think that Oak School is the finest school there is. It is also the best kept secret in Los Altos. We have awesome kids, a superb staff, and supportive parents. I have taught every age from preschool to 6th grade, but third graders are outstanding! My son Nic and daughter Katie are Oak alumni so I have been around Oak for a long time. I enjoy gardening, golfing, tapping, traveling with Mr. Tjader, and spending time with my family and friends. Mission Label:
Mission
All children have the right to a quality education regardless of learning, emotional, or physical disabilities. We as educators are partners in their education, along with the family and community. Children need high expectations and will rise to meet them. Teaching life skills is as important as academic skills. Being an educator is a life long learning experience with a continuous search for knowledge, self-awareness, and refinement. This quest will enable our students and us to keep up with the changing global village.
