Oakley School Attendance Improvement Plan 2012 - 2013

·       Ice cream will be given out at recess every other month by the principal/assistant principal to those students with great attendance for 2 months.  Great attendance means a student has 1 or less absences and or 1 or less tardies for the 2 month period. The months will be combined as follows: Aug/Sept, Oct/Nov Dec/Jan, Feb/Mar, and April/May).

·       Perfect attendance for the trimester will result in an award at the trimester assembly ( 0 absences and 1 tardy).

Classroom Attendance Incentives:

·       The class will earn one letter every day that the class has perfect attendance.  When the class spells “Everybody’s Here” the class will receive some type of reward such as pencils, erasers, sharpeners, etc.  and receive a scoop of ice-cream on our attendance bulletin board.

Year End Rewards:

·       The class with the most ice-cream scoops for earning “Everybody’s Here” will get an ice-cream party with the principal/assistant principal at the end of the year.

·       Students who have perfect attendance for the year will receive a perfect attendance award at the assembly (3 or less tardies and 0 absences).
