Gala Event Four week countdown to an exciting and fun filled evening to support our children and school at the gala event ,"Power of a Dream" fundraiser. Friday, March 5. 2010, at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda. Donations - large or small - are gladly being accepted.

Bring a Friend to School Month Oakridge's first. Students may bring a friend to school during February. Prior arrangements and emergency forms are required.

Scrip Pot-of-Gold Any scrip purchases from Feb. 16th- March 16th will grant your child, Jr. K- 5th, a pick from the "Pot-of- Gold" on St. Patrick's Day (1 pick per child). Middle School students will be given donuts and juice at recess, on St. Patrick's Day, for their scrip purchases.

After School Sports Oakridge Athletics Tri-way League Boys' and Girls' basketball have practice and games this week. The girls' have 8 wins and1 loss. The boys' have 5 wins and 4 loses. Go Bears!!!! DSL League (4th-6th grades) Girls' and Boys' Basketball have practice on Mondays and Wednesdays, the coach may call a special practice on Tuesdays, if extra practice is needed. There is an away game on Wed., Feb.10th. Golf is starting Friday, February 19th at 3:30pm. Any student, who is an established intermediate level golfer with 1 year experience, able to play 9 holes in 2 hours, and has his/her own clubs and golf shoes, may join.
