Welcome Back! We've had a great start to 2010 and look forward to all our growth in the months ahead. I will say, we have lost many teeth in first grade, especially over the break. It was fun to hear all the stories.

We are jumping right in to work by increasing the number of spelling words to 15. Another NEW ADDITION to our regular weekly schedule will be "Challenge Homework". This "Challenge Homework" is optional, however, many of our students are looking for just a little extra something to work on instead of dissecting Sponge Bob's brain :). It will be due every Friday for those interested, and they will share their findings or projects or pictures with the class. If you have any questions, you know where to reach me. Upcoming Events:

Wednesday, January 20th 1st grade will be in charge of the PIZZA  lunch. This is a fundraiser for Holy Childhood, and we are asking each family to donate a case of soft drinks, or water.

Thursday, January 28th: OPEN   HOUSE: The In 'n Out truck will be here before the doors open. More info to follow.
