I attended PHS and graduated in 1993. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in
1997 with a double major in History and Politics. I substitute taught in the
Petaluma district from 1998 to 1999. I received my teaching credential from
Dominican University in 2004. I was hired at PHS in 2004. I completed my
Master's Degree in United States History, with a minor in Middle Eastern
History, at San Francisco State University in 2009. I am pleased that I am
teaching in the same department that my uncle, Rick Hoadley, taught in for 30
years, and that I learned to teach from two of my former social science
teachers, Doug Hast and Steve Ellison.
