Welcome to the third grade website!

4th Quarter 2012
Happy New Year!  We are so excited to start our fourth quarter by reading exciting Houghtin Mifflin stories, learning about time, fractions, measurement, multiplication, and division in math,  understanding about government in social studies, and learning about matter in science.
Upcoming tests/projects for April, May, and June:
*These dates are tentative and subject to re-evaluation during the lessons but we hope this will help students and parents prepare for upcoming assessments. *          

Reading: Weekly Houghton Mifflin assessments during RTI class
Spelling: Weekly spelling test on Fridays
Grammar: Weekly DLP test at the end of the week
Writing: Ongoing paragraph writing
Math: Unit F math test during the week of April 23-May 4
          Unit 6 modified math test during the week of April 30-May 4
          Unit 7 math test during the week of May 21-25
          Unit G math test during the week of June 4-8
History: Unit 5 history test during the week of June 11-15
Science: Matter test during the week of April 30-May 4
