In order to better develop an appreciation for reading and build up reading stamina and growth, your child should be reading on a daily basis a <EM>minimum</EM> of 30 minutes.<BR> <BR> To help you select appropriate books, monthly book order forms from Scholastic Book Clubs will be sent home. There are forms for different grade levels as well as for Science, Math, special themes, and computer software to support reading skills, etc. A large selection of reasonably priced materials is available. The Scholastic Dictionary and Thesaurus in our book orders are a wonderful choice! Please make sure your child has these books accessible and is using these "reference" books FREQUENTLY when reading.
