I am so happy to be teaching fourth grade at Plaza Vista! I love working with children and spent my first
8 years at Plaza Vista teaching third grade. This year I moved up, or as I like to say "graduated" to
fourth grade. We will be having a lot of fun learning and growing together!
On a personal note, I have a degree in psychology from the University of California at Santa Barbara. I
received my teaching credential from California State University at Fullerton, and last year, I finished my
masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University. All of my education serves only as a
backdrop to my experiences working with children. We learn from each other everyday.
My family and I live in Irvine, and my two children go to Northwood High School. We love to travel, go to
the beach and out to see movies together. My family is a wonderful support to my profession and they
give me lots of great ideas and advise.
I am thrilled to share my love of learning with my students and to be a part of the Plaza Vista family.
