What are FIX ITS?

Fixes are small errors your child made during a worksheet in class. Please 
correct the mistake and return to class. Having the students responsible for 
their corrections gives them a sense of responsibility for their work. Once 
they keep fixing the same "mistakes" they become aware of the mistake before 
it happens (EX: always forgetting a period, etc.).

What is for Spelling Homework?

There is a schedule on the back cover of their spelling book, or you can 
look on the website tab SPELLING LIST for the schedule and words for the 
year.

What counts as the reading log?

When your child reads nightly, enter in the time in minutes they read. 
Whatever you or your family reads TO your child counts as minutes also. Make 
sure you are writing down the amount that you and your family are reading. 
You NEED to make your monthly goal. Look at the due date on the purple paper 
to remember when it is due.
