Please remind your child that this is a writing assignment which is an
element of homework. Forgotten homework eliminates your child from
the monthly honor roll.
Each week your child is responsible for writing and reading 3 clues about
their object. All sentence clues MUST be written BY THE STUDENT. I do not
mind if they are copied from sentences that you have helped them with, but
remember that he/she has to be able to read the words. If the clues
are written by the parent, credit for the assignment will NOT be given.
Here is the schedule for the year. Share days have been assigned and
remain the same all year long. REMINDER: No Pokemon/Digemon/Bionicle or
other current action character words. Names of relatives or pets are also
not
allowed. It needs to be something with which most of the children are
familiar.
Be creative. I am looking for the SOUND! Extra learning happen when we
discover that a letter, or combination of them, can make different sounds!
The sound can be located anywhere in the word.
