*******November Book Clubs & Project
The students were SO excited to get their Adventure book for November.
Since
it is a shorter month of school, the students are all reading shorter books
than they did in October (and don't have to do summaries every week). We
are
going to do a Book Project that will be due on 11/30. The project will be
Character Masks. Each student will pick a character in their book and
create
a mask of that character. They will present their mask to the class on the
30th. We will be working on the project in class for a few days before the
break, and will have a little bit of time on the 30th.
*******Science Test on Chapter 2 11/18
Chapter 2 is very short and the students will have covered all of the
material in class. We will review in class and do an interview test for
this
chapter. There will be a study guide with 10 questions that goes home so
the
students can be prepared to answer SOME of the questions with me on test day!
******Book Orders!
The October book orders are on their way and should be at Primary Plus by
11/12. November book orders will go out that day and will be due 11/23...I
know that it a shorter amount of time...There is a way to order online at
www.scholastic.com. Our user name is PP4thGrade and our password is amber.
Each parent order online gives our class a free book! If you have any
questions about book orders, contact Mrs. Altknecht.
