Mrs. Duenas joined the Queen of All Saints school community in 2008. Mrs.
Duenas earned her BA from California Institute of Integral Studies in San
Francisco, California. She is completing her Master's Degree at John F.
Kennedy University in Pleasant Hill, California. Mrs. Duenas has over 20 years
experience at the preschool and school age childcare level. She holds valid multi-subject teaching
credential from the State of California and before becoming a teacher, supervised the State
Preschool and School Age programs at Concord Child Care Center here in
Concord. Most recently, she has been the 2nd grade teacher at St. Bernard
Catholic School in Oakland, preparing her students to receive First Confession
and First Holy Communion.
Mrs. Duenas is an active parishioner at Our Lady Queen of the World Church in
Bay Point; where she serves as a lector and a catechism teacher for 25 years and currently serves as
the Director of Religious Education.
Mrs. Duenas has been married for over 25 years, has 5 children, 3
grandchildren, 3 dogs: a chihuahua named Rusty, a lab mix named Daisy and a
min pin named Gus.
Mrs. Duenas interests include camping and coaching teeball. Mrs. Duenas is an
avid Raider fan, loves the color green, Tinkerbell, Starbucks.
Mrs. Duenas's goal is to provide an environment where the children feel safe,
build a life long love of learning and a loving faith formation. The classroom
will be a fun, safe, child centered environment where experimenting and
manipulating their environment will enable all children's individual learning
styles to be respected and encouraged.
