| Welcome First Grade Families!!
Summer vacation is quickly coming to an end and the first day of school is
quickly approaching (Wednesday, August 30, 8:00-10:30.) Before we know it,
it will be time for the QAS Back-to-School BBQ (Sunday, August 17
1:00)and Back-to-School Night (Wednesday, August 27 6:30.)
To help ease the transition from Kindergarten to First Grade, I will be
available by email to answer any questions you may have about first grade.
Just click on the Contact Mrs. Prince icon and you will have access to my
email address. I will check my email frequently and get back to you ASAP.
A few reminders:
*Children should be dressed in full uniform on the first day of school.
*I will meet the students outside in the first grade line. They will line
up at the first bell. I will be holding a First Grade sign. Please be
prompt.
*Parents are invited to enjoy coffee and donuts in the Hall while the
students enjoy their first day of school. The children will be dismissed to
the schoolyard at 10:30
*Please make sure your child brings their supplies to class on the first day
of school. All of their supplies should be labeled with their first and
last name. If they bring the supplies in a bag, please write their name on
the bag.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you on the first day of school.
