Mission Label:
Mission
Ms. Gillman's goal is for her second graders to learn to love reading. Her classroom is forever changing with new projects and activities made by the children in Math,Language Arts, Social Studies and Science. She loves color! With colorful artwork and writing samples displayed the children show pride and self-assurance in their work. This makes our second grade room warm, friendly and inviting. Second grade is a year of celebration and joy in the church. They learn of the Sacraments and prayers most important in our Catholic faith. Much of this is done not only through our Faith First book but also through song and participation in prayer services and masses. With a happy and safe environment the spiritual growth of the children will thrive. Ms. Gillman wishes for her second graders that she left them learning not only the love of reading but also responsibility, organization and kindness to all.
