Tuesday: Teacher assigned poem analysis (#7 in your poetry book). Just do paragraphs 1 and 2.
Thursday: All 4 paragraphs for your teacher assigned poem analysis due Monday.

Week of April 29th:
Monday: questions page 445 1-10
Tuesday: Write your sonnet poem
Thursday: Write lyric poem

Week of April 22nd:
Monday: Grammar worksheet : parallel structure and editing a paragraph
               *** Study Island due at the end of the month
Tuesday: Ode prewriting and ode poem
Thursday: Elegy worksheet and elegy poem due Monday

Week of April 15th:
Monday: Study Island March/ April
Tuesday: Study Island March/April
Thursday: Complete the ballad poem outline and write your ballad poem
               Requirements: minimum of 15 lines
                                         must rhyme
                                         must have a refrain
                                          must have 1 line of alliteration and 1 hyperbole

                  Bring AF project supplies
Thursday: Anne Frank project DUE Monday April 8th! No project = no field trip

***Bring 1.1 paragraphs typed tomorrow (Tuesday)
Tuesday: 2.3 Summary and analysis paragraph
***Bring 1.2 and 1.3 paragraphs typed
Friday: 2.4 and 2.5 summary ONLY.

Week of March 11th:
Monday: Please catch up on any Anne Frank paragraphs that you need to . I also recommend you start typing the paragraphs up because your final project must be typed. Please see the word document template below if you would like to use it.

Tuesday: Rough Draft MSP due TUESDAY! Type it or hand write it and skip lines.

               STUDY business letter format for inclass writing essay TOMORROW

Thursday: TYPE up a final version of your cover letter. This is your brag sheet that you would use to help someone that is writing a letter of recommendation for you. Make sure you save it on the computer or thumb drive or email it to yourself so that you can make corrections and print out multiple copies for when you need to ask a teacher for a letter of rec. 

Week of September 24th:
Monday: Rewrite your body paragraph
Thursday: Outline of your business letter 
               Essay Outline quiz Monday

Week of September 17th:
Monday: Literary History due tomorrow
               Bring spiral notebook
Tuesday: Write intro paragraph on topic of your choice

Monday: Summer choice book test Monday Sept 17th
Tuesday: Literary History: complete the rough draft questions on the direction sheet. 
               Summer choice book test Monday Sept 17th
Thursday: Summer Choice book test MONDAY
               Literary History project due TUESDAY
               Bring a spiral notebook for warm-ups. Ideally a 2 subject so you dont run out of space throughout the year
