8th Grade American History Learning Targets

 

The story of US is a fascinating adventure of how America was invented. The journey focuses on the people, ideas and events that built our nation, covering over two centuries of American history…from European exploration and colonization and the development of the unique American identity, creation and establishment of our own government, era of regional change, to a nation divided and rebuilt.

  • The learning targets help you retell the story of American history from the 1600s to the turn of the Twentieth Century.
