Welcome to 7th Grade English!

This year in English, we will use various types of literature to learn more about ourselves and our world. Writing will also be a major focus in the 7th grade as we prepare for the state writing test in March. Students will use the writing process to write narrative, expository, persuasive and descriptive texts. Students will also read, respond to, and analyze a variety of types of literature, including short stories, plays, poetry, non-fiction and novels. I am looking forward to a very productive and successful year with all of you.
