THE THIRD EXTRA CREDIT PROJECT: Due Monday, 1/11, 25 points max

Make a Moon Mission chart 
- search http://www.google.com/moon/ for a site that will give you a mosaic 
of landing site images and a tour of the Apollo moon landings.  Click to view 
the information in 3D.  Research other sites and books to find more 
information.
- For each moon mission find the following:
a) Mission name and number
b) Date launched
c) Date landed on the moon
d) Name of landing site
e) Purpose of mission
f) Any specialized moon equipment used, ie: Lunar Rover
g) Duration of time on moon
h) Date returned to Earth, splashdown point (if possible)
i) Name and position (ie: commander, pilot, etc) of astronauts on the mission

- get a piece of poster board, white or color is okay
- make a one inch border around your poster, you can leave it blank, color 
it, put stickers in it, draw, etc.
- make a title for your poster
- place an illustration/computer printout of the moon on your poster board
- identify each of the lunar landing sites with some type of color coded flag 
or label
- make a table showing all the information from a-i above
- your poster will be graded on neatness and accuracy
- keep your poster to the regular size poster boards you can get at the 
store, anything too big will not be graded
