Spirit Night Practice!!!
Tuesday Dec. 1, at 12:55 in the gym & Wednesday Dec. 2, at 12:55 in the gym!
Everyone who is going to Spirit Night with us needs to be there!
Spirit Day – COTY!
This Thursday is Spirit Day! Wear red, black and white to show your school
spirit! This is the 1st COTY competition of the 2nd trimester.
Spirit Rally :
Come to the gym on Thursday at lunch and get our Spirit Night team geared up
for Thursday Spirit Night competition. We will have a rally, cheers, music,
lip sync and a relay race! Everyone is invited to participate! See you
there!
Spirit Night :
If you are participating in this year’s spirit night at the teen center,
please be in the Redwood cafeteria at 5:00pm on Thursday, December 3rd, to
prepare for the rally. If you have not turned in your permission slip, it is
due to Mrs. Needham tomorrow the latest! The event will take place at the
Teen Center from 6:00 to 8:30pm and students will need to be picked up by
their parents at the Teen Center promptly at 8:30pm.
Cross Country Club:
There is a run this Friday at 4:00 at Sycamore.
Redwood Girls Basketball Team Try-Outs
All 6th, 7th and 8th grade girls are invited to try-out for the Redwood
basketball team. Try-outs will be held on December 2nd and 7th in the
Redwood gym from 3:30 - 5pm.The season runs from January to March.
Vikettes:
There will be no leadership lunch until Tuesday, December 8th due to Spirit
Night rehearsals in the gym. All Vikettes attending Spirit Night should
attend all lunchtime rehearsals.
Student Congress: If you like to discuss and debate hot topics in the news,
Redwood’s Student Congress is for you! The Student Congress will now be
meeting on Thursdays during lunch in Room 36. All 6th-, 7th-, and 8th-grade
students are welcome.
DIY Club: Come help us assemble a toilet, Thurs. during lunch in Rm. 7.
Toys for Tots:
Please bring your unwrapped toys to your period 1 class. Class with the most
Toys at the end of the drive wins a pizza party
Christmas Trees:
NPHS Baseball Boosters 15th Annual Christmas tree Lot. Proceeds support the
NPHS baseball program.
Prowler Lacrosse:
Open registration for 2010 season. Starbucks at the corner of Reino and
Kimber, Sat. Dec. 12, from 10:00 – 2:00.
A Holiday Gift for Redwood:
Shop at the Promenade, The Lakes or The Commons this season and you could
earn a valuable gift for Redwood. 5% of all sales go back to our school.
Collect all your receipts and bring them to the concierge!
