COTY Event: Thursday is Valentine’s Dress-up Day. Make sure to dress up for
COTY points!
Cross Country Club News: There is a meeting tomorrow during lunch in Room 29
and a run at Los Robles at 4:00.
Snowboard/Ski Club: Our next snowboard/ski club trip is on February 19th.
That means that your citizenship points and your grades need to be at the
required levels by THIS Thursday in order to be eligible. Be sure to check
with your teachers to make sure that you are eligible.
Family Food Night: Come join in the fun any time of the day on Wed. at The
Habit in Thousand Oaks. Come for an all day fundraiser, have lunch or dinner
or both. 20% of all proceeds will be given back to Redwood for all of our
wonderful programs.
Valentine Grams: Valentine Grams are being sold through Wednesday and will be
delivered on Thursday.
Phantom Fundraiser: You may bring your envelope back to your 1st period class
anytime before Feb. 17.
Library News: The library will not be open before school on Wednesday
Box Tops for Education Fundraiser: Attention all students! Turn in Box Tops
to your first period teacher. The top 3 students who turn in the most Box
Tops will win a gift card to The Golden Spoon! The class that turns in the
most will win a donut party!! Hurry, because you only have until February
23rd to bring in your Box Tops! Please write your full name and 1st period
teachers name on your bag
After School Dance Clinic: Attention 6th and 7th grade dancers! Beginning
Wed., Feb. 10th, the Vikettes after school dance clinic will be open to 6th
and 7th graders interested in auditioning for next year's team. The clinic
is $5 per session and runs from 3:20-4:20 in the cafetorium after school on
Wednesdays. See Mrs. Harman in room 46 to sign up or email her from
teacherweb.com. See you there!
T.O.T.C. Snowboard Trip for 7th – 12th Graders: This Friday from 6:30 am –
7:30 pm. $5 to register and $60 due the day of the trip. Call 494-5156 for
more info.
6th Grade Students
6th Grade Thinking Cap Competition: The Thinking Cap team is competing
Wednesday. They will meet at lunch and miss 5th and 6th period
6th Grade Outdoor School: 6th Graders: Outdoor School is coming soon! This
year Group 1 will go from 2/22 to 2/24 and Group 2 will go from 2/24 to 2/26.
J. Paul Getty Field Trips: The J. Paul Getty Field Trips are coming up on
Feb. 19, Feb. 26, March 5 and March 18.
8th Grade Students
Museum of Tolerance: This field trip is scheduled for Monday, March 15. The
cost of the trip is $25 and payment must be made on our online webstore with
debit or credit card or cash by Feb. 26. All completed forms must be stapled
with the teacher name and “online” purchase noted on top. Copy of receipt
must be attached.
