Starts October 6, 2009 (Tuesdays, after school)

An opportunity for Redwood musicians to play in a jazz band and

begin learning jazz improvisation.

Instruments:

Flutes,clarinets,oboes,alto,tenor and baritone saxophones.

Trumpets,trombones ,baritones,tubas. Drum-set, guitar, piano,acoustic

bass and/or electric bass.

Musicians must be able to read music and have a least 1 year of

experience playing their instrument and be enrolled in performance

group @ Redwood Middle School. (Band or Orchestra)

Director:

Janine Delwarte M.A. Janine is a professional musician and a music

educator in the Conejo Valley. She brings a balance of structure,

Time: 3:25-4:30 pm

Fee: $100.00 payable to Janine Delwarte

SECOND SESSION JAZZ BAND WILL BE OFFERED ON WEDNESDAYS STARTING

FEBRUARY 2, 2010 FOR 13 WEEKS

Student may participate in either or both sessions.
