Anyone prepared to help with washing Band jackets or pants please contact
Heather Hickman by email heather@hiksys.com or call 310 420 8715. It would
really be appreciated.
The uniforms are easy to wash - load 5 jackets in washing machine on cold,
treat collar and cuff line with 'spray & wash'. Remove promtly and place in
dryer for 5mins.

Here is a reminder about uniforms following parade performances:
Please check that your student's pants are hung correctly on the hanger with
jacket so they won't be wrinkled for the next performance. Let the uniform
air out for a few days before you zip it up into the garment bang.
Wash the dirty socks and shirts that may be stuffed in the garment bag. A
dryer sheet may be placed in the bottom of the garment bag and in the shoes
to help with odors. If the uniform is noticeable dirty or smelly please
contact Heather Hickman or Pam Rhodes.
If your student does not have a Redwood Band polo shirt (also called the
Alternate shirt) then you will need to make arrangements to get one before
Fillmore. You can contact Shawna Wilson, Pam Rhodes, or Heather Hickman.
All band students must wear the Alternate band shirt after the performance at
Fillmore and Knott's.
GENERAL UNIFORM INFORMATION:
Our Alternate Uniform consists of the following:
Red polo shirt with our Viking logo (must be purchased from boosters)
Black Dickies brand pants(can be found at Tilly's, Pac Sun, Pants Town, etc.)
in the following styles:
Boys - Plain front style
Men's- Work pant with flat front no exta pocket or cell phone or cargos
Girls- Lo Rider style
Juniors- Lo Rider style no stretch fabric
A plain black belt is optional.
Students will wear their black marching shoes and long black socks with both
uniforms. Shoes are purchased through the boosters.
Our marching band uniforms CANNOT be dry cleaned. If a uniform needs to be
cleaned, please call Pam Rhodes at 805 379-1008.
