ALL BOOKS WERE DUE BACK BY MAY 28TH, SO BRING THEM IN!
Students: Did you reach your goal? If so, congratulations!
HOMEROOM: interview your parent(s) about their educational backgrounds and
report back to us about it.
LA: Complete your poetry anthology and memorize your favorites.
WH: FINAL EXAM THIS WEDNESDAY ON AOE AND AMERICAS, study until then and show
me study guide day of test.
LIT: Practice your speech each day until your presentation (speeches commence
Tuesday May 28 and finish Tuesday June 4th).
HOMEWORK MENU
Directions: Use this homework menu when you have completed what was assigned
for the week in class, and you are looking to extend your learning experience
to build knowledge and skills. You may also use this in class when you have
finished the assigned work.
Keep track of words as you read using the 4 spelling rules for 7th grade.
Do extra assignments in grammar to improve your understanding of language.
Keep a vocabulary journal for all subjects, what words go across the
curriculum?
Write a personal narrative.
Write about your name.
Write about your heritage.
Write a poetry anthology.
Research about an author.
Create a learning game.
Write an alternate ending to a story you have read.
Using our Literature text, read anything we have not read in class, do the end
of the story assignments and hand in.
Research any one or all of the holidays we have off this year.
Create a learning game.
Research the history of any subject your are studying.
Find out about the groups not covered in the standards, like the Mongols.
Make an illustrated timeline for any period in world history. Use the TCI
