My name is Mrs. Chapman. I love teaching 6th grade Science. My husband is
Mr. Chapman, some of you might know him. ;) I have a daughter in third grade
and a super cute dog named Ziggy. I like to camp, hike, make jewelry, kayak,
go to the spa, go to Shark's games, go to the beach, and travel. I am super
excited to start this year!
My goal for the class is to get students familiar with Earth Science. I also
want the students to learn the topics, but have fun at the same time. We do
many different kinds of activities. We do experiments, games, notes,
simulations, class activities, demonstrations, etc. We will be exploring the
Earth's interior, earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks, fresh water, erosion,
glaciers, biomes, animals, ecology and all kinds of other topics. We also take
field trips to the Saratoga Creek and another location to be determined. It
should be a great year for all!
