Candy Machine

Candy Machine Project:
Using a Mason jar as a reservoir for candy like M&M's, Reeces Pieces, Skittles, design and create a dispenser mechanism that dispenses candy and controls the portions.
Portions will be limited to six or fewer pieces.
--It must be operated by hand by means of a sliding or turning wheel or lever.
-- You may work in teams of three or four, but each person produces their own machine, as well as the drawings for their machine.
-- Your machine design is copyrighted and trademarked, and other groups may not use your design. Keep your design on file with the Patent Office.
Drawings:
-- Make three one-dimensional views of your machine; Side, End, and Top views.
-- Have measurements for all aspects of your machine
-- Each person in your team will produce an identical drawing
-- Drawings must include notes on what type of materials will be used in your machine.
Materials:
--You will be provided with one Mason Jar and one base plate per person. Bases are approximately 7" X 7" X 3/4"
--You may use wood, plastic or metal on your candy machine.
Notes:
-- Your machine must look like your original drawings. If there are changes to your machine, make changes to your drawings and show them to the instructor.
-- The machines will not be painted or stained. However; wax may be used on sliding surfaces.
