Fish FunHi Parents, I wanted to share with you the great way our school is working together to create an atmosphere of community. The staff at Fisler School have been trained in the Fish! Philosophy and are sharing it's heartfelt ideas with our students and families. It is just one way we are hoping to encourage respect, responsibility, and caring in a fun way that everyone can share. If you are interested in learning more about the training we had you can check out this link to the Charthouse website.

The Four Fish Philosophys are: Make Their Day Be There Choose Your Attitude Play
We are working to learn about each philosophy and how it would look like, sound like, and feel like in the classroom. We have a collection of different plush fish animals in our room to help us focus on different aspects of the Fish Philosophy.
I am very proud of room N4 and how they are showing their "Fishyness" and understanding how it helps everyone enjoy school more. Please ask your child about what we are doing. I will be posting different questions that you can share and discuss if you are interested in extending our Fish Fun at home. Be watching for other "Fishy" activities throughout the year.
NEW FISH TALES! In our classroom, we have a plastic bowl of plush clown fish. Students will offer a fish to a friend if they have shown the "Fish Philosophy". We are extending that activity to Fish Tales. Students can now fill out a Fish Tale paper that will be sent home with the child showing Fishyness. If your child comes home with a FISH TALE let them share their story. You will be so proud of your child and the way they are helping students, thinking of others, and generally making room N4 a wonderful place to be. |
