What is a swim assessment?

We evaluate the students progress in the water during the first and third
trimester. Based on their grade, students are asked to perform skills from
bubbles to 100yards freestle to the best of their ability. We then give them
one of three progress updates. Outstanding, Meets requirements and Improving
are the three levels we place each student. We also assess multiple skills
on the field as well.
