WHEN is my Recommendation package DUE to Ms. Calbi?

Your complete package is due to Ms. Calbi by September 1. But, you can
turn them in anytime before then. Because Ms. Calbi cannot do EVERY
student's recommendation, and does not wish to choose between all her
wonderful students, the first complete folders to be turned in, will be the
ones she writes recommendations for.

Nearly all applicants at a competitive college are qualified to do
successful
work at that college and have good academic records and adequate test
scores.
Therefore, the acceptance often depends upon extras such as unusual

leadership, character, or community service. What special talents,
accomplishments, or characteristics do you have that might make you stand
out? Dont be modest.

letter of recommendation about you. (enthusiasm, distinguishing
