HOMEROOM:

MATH: Textbook pages 235-238 #1-13 odd, 29,31,32,33... complete on a piece of paper with the proper format

SCIENCE: Find your Bill Nye "Gravity" notes.  Write a summary (5 to 7 sentences) of the notes.  Make sure you have an opening sentence, details, and a closing sentence.


SWITCH CLASS:

LANGUAGE ARTS: Write your answers in complete sentences for the "Think Questions" on page 48.  Must be answered on a separate sheet of paper.

SOCIAL STUDIES: Complete all of Roman Numeral I (including the blanks for A, B, and C.) on the 1-1 worksheet...use your book to help you fill in the blanks.

Come up with a sentence for Artifacts and Fossils on your 1-1 vocabulary paper... remember the sentence should be in 6th grade language and not the same as the definition.  The word DOESN"T have to be used in the sentence.

HW: Finish defining the 10 vocabulary words for section 1-1.  Pick 5 of the words to DRAW pictures.  If I look at the picture, I should have a good idea what the word is.  We will write sentences in class tomorrow (for each word) as we read.

Language Arts: Brainstorm the things you want to write about in the 4 paragraphs for your "Friendly Letter" to me.  Paper was handed out in class with details for each paragraph topic.


Social Studies: Find 6 pictures of significant events that have happened in your life from birth to now... Some Examples: you were born, 1st trip to Disneyland, 1st airplane ride, family trip to a special place, etc.  These events should show be specialy and exciting events or milestones as you have grown.
