Welcome

St. Callistus is a Catholic, parish school, founded by and affiliated with the Dominican Sisters of San Jose. We serve an ethnically diverse student population within the parish and its surrounding area in grades Pre-K through 8th. Our mission is to educate the whole child in an environment that is Christ-centered, academically excellent, safe, and respectful. We are charged with the task of developing every child to his God-given potential: spiritually, morally, academically, ethically, socially, and physically.

“Everyday at St. Callistus I feel and know that God loves me!”
SC 8th Grader

“St. Callistus is my second family. My teachers and friends…have been taking care of me and guiding me to a better path for a successful life. St. Callistus is the key to our hearts and future!”
SC 7th Grader

Message from the Principal

Dear Parents,
I hope that you will take the time during this Lenten Season to speak to your child about the importance of Fasting, Prayer, and Almsgiving during Lent. As a school community, we are conducting the Koins for Kids program which is a wonderful daily reminder to the students to sacrifice for others. Every morning we hear cheers of the classes who have raised so much money already for this worthy cause. The "Pia Penguin" travels from classroom to classroom, depending on which class is in the lead at the moment. Our students are getting a reminder every day about what this Lenten Season is about.
Please remember to invite your friends to our "Hearts of Gold" Auction which is coming up on March 6! This will be a wonderful evening of fun and enjoyment, and all that we earn helps our school!
May God bless all the precious families of St. Callistus Catholic School.
Most Sincerely,
Margaret Meland
