1) Please make sure that you have completed the "Shield the Vulnerable" clearance online at http://www.shieldthevulnerable.org prior to volunteering at school. The office will need your clearance certificate and $8 before you can help out in our classroom, come on field trips, attend class parties, or help with Math Tiles. Even if you completed this last year, it has to be done again.
2) Graded classwork comes home on Fridays, in your child's yellow folder. 3) Please help me to remind your child that yellow homework folders need to be given to me every morning, full or empty. They are to be placed on the wooden chair in our classroom every morning when the children arrive. This helps our morning routine go smoothly and ensures that I receive any and all homework, notes etc. Thank you.4) On days that 1st grade has 8:00am Mass (please check calendar), children are to be lined up on the first grade line by 7:55. Mass begins promptly at 8:00am and we are expected to be in the church and seated at that time.
