Weekly Snapshot (12/7/09-12/11/09)

Dear Parents,

Student Council Presents Candy Cane Sales December 7-9.  Students can 
purchase candy canes during recess for $0.25 for 1 or 5 for $1.00.

We have a lot of work to do before Christmas Break.

HSS - We will begin working on the Egypt Independent/Group Project on 
Tuesday.  This project is to be done in lieu of a traditional chapter test 
and will carry the same weight as such assessment.

Vocabulary - Unit 4 test on Wednesday.

English/Grammar- Quiz will be on Tuesday covering lessons 2.1-2.3.  We will 
review in class on Monday.

Immaculate Conception mass is in Tuesday at 11:00am.

December Birthdays will be celebrated on Wednesday.

We are half way through the quarter.  Please check gradelink with your 
child to see if there are any assignments that need to be completed.

Gradelink- Not only is Gradelink a wonderful tool for parents; it is also a 
great tool for teachers.  I mark any missing assignments as a 
zero/incomplete.  This includes students who are absent.  The zero is 
averaged into the overall grade which will be replaced by the earned grade 
when the assignment is turned in.
