Dear Families,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  I want to thank all the 
parents who helped with our Thankgiving feast.  It was lots of fun.

It's hard to believe Advent is here!  Tomorrow we will attend the Advent 
Prayer Service at 9:30.  You are welcome to attend and sit with your child.

During the month of December we will have a few special outreach projects.  
First of all, K-1 and K-2 will adopt a family through We Care.  This is a 
local family in need.  Please look for details of how you can help this 
week.  Secondly, St. Hedwig Church offers a dinner for seniors who may be 
alone this Christmas.  Students have been asked to help by contributing a 
small present for either a man or a woman:  "Mr. Claus" or "Mrs. Claus."  If 
possible, our class has been asked to bring in a "Mr. Claus" present.  Ideas 
might include a handkerchief, blanket/throw, wallet - anything small and not 
too expensive.  Gifts can be wrapped and addressed to "Mr. Claus."  Thank you 
in advance for your generosity!  Lastly, kinders will be making Christmas 
cards for seniors in the area.  We hope to spread some Christmas cheer!

Mark your calendars for our Christmas Program.  Mrs. Jabro has a special 
performance scheduled for Thursday, December 17.  Our students will be given 
a costume to wear - girls will be angels and boys will be shepherds.
