7th Grade Parents: There is a sign-up list outside my door for parent
Conferences FOR THOSE WHO SIGNED UP FOR ONE IN THE FRONT OFFICE. Please find
an open time and sign up.
All 8th Grade parents who wish a conference should be signed up.
Both grades are continuing with the vocab study. Each Monday, we learn and
pronounce new words and the quiz is on Friday. I have added a comprehension
section as well. Expect a vocab quiz every Friday each week.
7th Grade: We continue our study of Medieval Africa. Students are
working on an in-depth map of the geology. Few Americans know much about this
amazing continent.
L.A.: We have begun reading the anti-Utopian novel The Giver.
8th grade Social Studies Chapter 4 Quiz will be next Tuesday. We are studying
the presidency of Adams and Jefferson and the continuing battle of state vs.
federal rights!
L.A. We are now reading Fahrenheit 451. Students should be up to page 52 by
Monday.
8th GRADE RELIGION: Working in class on "Character" essays for USD contest.
