Algebra Newsflash

We are almost finished with our study on factoring polynomials.  We have learned a technique for factoring using area square models.  Please use this technique for all quadratic factoring, especially where a > 1.
 
 I will extend the extra credit on bellwork through the Chapter 5 test date, if you complete the explore sheets that are available in the back of the classroom.  Those of you who took advantage of this opportunity over Thanksgiving Break have had significant improvement in your factoring techniques - good work!
 
Honor's Algebra: 
Chapter 5 exam is this Friday, December 4th.
Pursuing Primes Portfolio Project is due this Thursday, December 3rd. It was assigned on November 5th.
 
Algebra I:
Chapter 5 exam is next Wednesday, December 9th.
Pursuing Primes Portfolio Project is due next Tuesday, December 8th. It was assigned on November 9th.
