"Let Me Be As Christ To You"

8/31  Be creative!  Create a 8.5"x11" (portrait) "Let Me Be As Christ To You"  
      drawing.  Make the letters figures or decorate it so that it reflects 
      YOU.  Make sure your name shows clearly.
9/1   Read p 8 & 9.  Write the 6 main ideas.  
      Do Handout "Ripple Effect"
9/2   Read p 10 & 11.  Write 4 key ideas.
      Create a drawing, clay figure, prayer or poem to show:  "emerging 
      from the marble"...becoming the person you want to be.  Be ready to 
      share.
9/3   Read p 12 & 13.  Write 4 main ideas.
      Write the characteristics of a "True Friend".

9/8   Write and illustrate a simile to explain God's love.
      Write personal responses to p 14:
            * Things to think about,
            * Things to share,
            * On Line with the Parish
9/9   Prepare for test
9/10  Test today.
      HW  Read p 20 & 21.  Write 4 main ideas.
      Ask at least 3 people (from various age groups) to complete this 
      sentence:  "Happiness is ..."

9/15  Preparing for Mass:  write a petition

9/22  Write answers for:  How are helped by family and friends in our search
      for happiness?  How can they hinder us?  How can we help or hinder them?
      Re-read p 20 & 21
9/23  Read p 22 & 23   Write 6 main ideas
      Develop a slogan or ad on "How to avoid pleasure traps on the road to 
      happiness."  Illustrate it!
9/24  Read p 24 & 25  Write 6 main ideas
      Are you a survivor? Write your reaction to being told you have to now
      follow 10 strict rules after you have been in a desert for 3 months!!!

9/30  Read p 26-27 and think!
10/1  Prepare for Test.

10/6  In class we prepare for Friday's Family Activity. 
10/7  In class we prepare for test on Thursday.
10/8  Test today in class.  No HW
