Here are some helpful reminders for the week:
Variety Show
Put May 25 at 9:30*** (NOTICE TIME CHANGE) and 1:00 on your calendars for the annual SJA Variety Show. Sixth Graders are asked to wear white shirts with rolled up jeans/overalls along with converse type shoes (think- country).This year's theme is "Celebration of Disney" and is sure to be a hit!!
Walk-Through Ancient Times Over the next couple of weeks we will be preparing for our Walk Through Ancient Times Interactive Workshop on May 30 at 12:00 pm. Please plan to attend. Students will be dressed up as a character from Ancient Greece, Rome or Egypt. Students have been assigned characters and expert cards. Please
assist your child with costuming and memorizing his/her cards. Shoe DriveStudent council is hosting a shoe drive from May 21-June 1. Please put a rubber-band around each pair of used shoes you would like to contribute. Shoes can be dropped off in the front of the school or in the back by the middle school lockers.
No School
There will be no school on Monday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day. :)
Additional Survey for the 6th Grade GirlsPlease read and send in the consent form (ASAP) for your daughter to take the survey that is assisting Mrs. Kacey Smith with her thesis about how girls interact with each other.
