7th Grade: Complete workbook pages 31-32 for tomorrow. Start studying for the
Chapter 2 exam,
which is scheduled for this Thursday 12/10. Review your vocabulary, -ar verb
conjugations, personal
pronouns, and ordinal numbers. :Look at the Chapter Review at the end of the
Chapter. Bring
questions to class tomorrow, so we can address them in the review.
Christmas traditions in Spanish speaking countries: Write a minimum of 8-10
sentences, in your
OWN words, describing the country's location, customs and traditions of the
country . The paragraph
(s) should be written in English, but you must site the resources that you
use. Please explain the
foods, special music, costumes, and other significant traditions that make
your place unique. Are
there any re-enactments of the Nativity? Who brings the presents to the
children? When does the
celebration begin and how long does it last? Please make a KEY for at least 5
Spanish vocabulary
words that you research in describing the traditions of your country. The
research should also
include a picture or pictures that represent one or more items that you
explain in your paper (the
pictures can be clipped from a magazine, internet or hand-drawn if they are
easy to distinguish and
neat. Please present your information on an 8x11 or 9x12 piece of paper. Due
Tuesday, 12/15/09.
8th Grade: Please complete workbook pages 99-100 for tomorrow. The Chapter 9
exam is
scheduled for next Wednesday, 12/16.

8th Grade: Complete workbook pages 101-102 for tomorrow.
12/10/09
7th Grade: Work on your traditions of Christmas report. Please write the title
of your country at the top of your page. Remember to include the following: a
key with a minimum of 5 new spanish words that you learned from your research,
a picture(s) depicting something from your research about your country, site
the resource that you used for your information. If you interview someone,
site their name and relationship to you. This assignment is due next
Tuesday,12/15/09.
8th Grade: Write 10 sets of questions and answers, similiar to the assignment
that was due today (workbook pages 101-102). Use the textbook page 303 to help
you Blue box and exercise #9 that we did in class yesterday. This assignment
is due tomorrow, at 8:00 a.m., or you will receive the grade on your homework
that was due today!
