Meg Honey teaches AP U.S. History and U.S. History and serves as the Social Studies Department Chair.
She is also the moderator of SJND's Chaminade Academy. Meg recently completed her Master's Degree
in United States History at San Jose State University, and her research interests include the Civil Rights
Movement, Women's History/Gender Studies, and California History. Meg is graduate of the University
of the Pacific where she majored in Theatre Arts. She earned California Clear Credentials in Social
Science and Theatre Arts from Saint Mary's College of California, where she currently works as an
Adjunct Professor in the Kalmanovitz School of Education. Prior to teaching at SJND, Meg served
in the Diocese of Oakland as a middle school Social Studies teacher and Vice Principal at Saint Perpetua
School in Lafayette. In her free time, Meg enjoys hanging out with her husband, swimming,
reading, and traveling. She is the proud "mama" of Henry and Albert, her puggles!
