About The Teacher

I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and 
later my teaching credential from California State University, Fullerton.  In 
my spare time (what's spare time?), I enjoy walking and doing yoga for 
exercise.  At home, I love to read, putter in my garden, and listen to my 
IPod--but not all at the same time . . .

I am blessed to be the mom of four wonderful children--two of whom are
now in college--I can barely believe that myself. My, time flies.  Speaking of
which  I am in my eighth year teaching junior high at St. Norbert and loving
it.  My family and I are also parishioners at St. Norbert and feel very
blessed to be part of such a warm and caring community.

My own children keep me very busy and I often run into SNCS families at 
the local athletic fields, swimming pools, and track meets.  I feel like 
quite the celebrity around town as I spot children in red polo shirts 
pointing at me and whispering, "I know who that is!" 
    
     After seven terrific years as part of the junior high team, I am excited
to be teaching both science and language arts again this year.  Writing, in
particular has always been a passion of mine and I am looking forward sharing
my enthusiasm with my students.
