Are you available for tutoring?

I don't particularly like to "tutor" my own students, however, I am
available for any student who needs additional help. Sometimes class time
is not enough so I am available for afterschool help. Arrangements would
have to be made beforehand.

What's the best way for my student to study?

One way to study is to revisit homework. I pass back the student's homework
to them so they have it for future reference. Most likely they will
encounter a similar homework problem on a test.

Another way is to produce flashcards. This works well especially if new
concepts were learned or for quizzing themselves on new formulas.

Another idea is to go over chapter quizzes. Quizzes are a good indication
of what area the student needs improvement.

When are you available for a conference?

I can be available mornings before school, or afternoons. Just let me know
beforehand.

Is late work accepted?

As a general rule, late work will not be accepted. However, if the sudent
is absent, then they have that many days to turn in the missed homework.
Students will be responsible for asking for missing work upon their
returning to school, or they can always look on this web page under the
homework link.

Is there extra credit?
