Every Monday, students are assigned 16 spelling words. These are to be
written 5 times each and to be used to complete a worksheet. Students will
also have a penmanship practice sheet.
6th grader spelling words for the week of 11/20: pillow, indeed, monster,
fifteen, escape, gotten, velvet, engine, insist, admire, index, intense,
further, frantic, convince, instinct
8th grader spelling words for the week of 11/20:exported, imported, migrate,
portable, predicting, dictator, supported, verdict, dictionaries,
reservation, preservation, conservation, observatory, indictment, emigrate,
immigration.
Each trimester students will also need to complete a book report.
