Every Monday, students are assigned 16 spelling words. These are to be
written 5 times each and to be used to complete a worksheet. Students will
also have a penmanship practice sheet.
6th grader spelling words for the week of 12/11: lifted,pointed, returned,

scrubbed, admitted, committed, preferred, referring
8th grader spelling words for the week of 12/11: protested, provisions,
profitable, proceeds, prosperity, telegram, telegraph, telescopes, undertake,
underlying, underneath, international, interview, intermediate, interrupted,
intercept
Each trimester students will also need to complete a book report.
