selected for you. THIS ASSIGNMENT, CHAPTERS 21 & 23, is due on: Weds 6/3. CHOICES BELOW:
IF YOU PREFER TO WRITE THE SUMMARIES, please do the following -
"CHOICE ONE": Read Chapter 21, an informative section about the early African American civil rights
era. Pages 699-725. Write a one-page (full page) reflection (narrative or bullet point), in which you
note the important ECONOMIC, SOCIAL, and POLITICAL events/issues of the era. Then...in a
sentence or two each, describe what issue/event was most interesting or surprising to
you...AND...what issue/development/event was, in your opinion, the most important/significant to
the Civil Rights movement....AND...
Read Chapter 23, an interesting chapter about various Movements in Post War America. Pages 767-
787. Write a one-page (full page) reflection (narrative or bullet point), in which you note the
